My first Entry.. hmm.. what to say, what to say...
Well, I am going to be starting a new chapter in my life in Calgary, Alberta soon {9 days to be exact} and I'm scared as hell. New city, new people, new place to live.. it's very exciting and at least I am going to be working for the same company that I have been with for 5 1/2 years, so that's a definate plus. Just very hard to leave Edmonton, i've been here since 1979 {y'all are trying to do the math, right?} to leave my close friends and brother is difficult, but it's for the best. It's not like I'm moving to another country.. Calgary is 3 1/2 hours away.. just I wont be about to see them as often as I would like. On the other hand, when we do see each other, it'll be that much more special :o)
I, of course, love poker.. even though it doesn't love me back at the moment.. and I will continue to grind away at it whereever I am.. lol.. have laptop will travel :o) The most important thing to me is not the game.. that's where I differ from a few people.. to me, it's the people that keeps me playing. I've made so many very special friends on here - people who I dont know how I could get through the day without - I never want to lose that, ever.
My room is going really well too.. ThysAsyllum is now 99 people strong and the people in there are top notch, but they gotta learn to fold when I bet.. LMAO.. kiddin'
Hey, can anyone tell me how to add "buddies"? I'm a blog virgin..

Congrats on the new room and the blog as well. I found your post in my new blog so I had to come and return the favor. Keep your spirits up regarding the move. I think it is going to be the best thing you have done for your future in a long time.
As for adding the Buddie's while logged into your blog just hit the customize button on the top right. You should see a layout window come up and look for buddies and select add, give each Buddie a name and cut and paste their blog addy in the http area. you can move your Buddie list up and down in your main window by click and dragging it. Hope this helps.
Can't wait to hear how your new home turns out. I will stop by often to see how things are going.
